  • Objectives- Home Page- Here we will introduce Boogie and give a little background information on Yellowstone. Sites- Here we will show all of the favorite sites you can pull up to in the park. Activities- Here we will list all of the activities provided at Yellowstone. Survival Guide- Here we will inform you of all the important tips to survive.

Alan Brown is a 30 year old man who manages the local grocery store. With his high school diploma he earns around $60,000 a year. He has a wife and two kids and his hobbies are sports, movies, and camping. Alan's preferred operating system is Windows 7 but he has increasingly been using his iPad to browse the web. He is adept at browsing the web and his favorite sites include: facebook.com, cnn.com, gmail.com, and wikipedia.org. The user would like to find out general information regarding the Park, including travel, weather, and other basic information. Alan wants to find out what the most popular areas of Yellowstone National Park are. He would also like some basic facts and highlights regarding these areas. He would also like some photos in order to see what the environment is like and some of the potential things they could see. The site owner would like to make the site easily accessible to those who may not have much technological experience. He also wants to verify that the content available is what his audience is in search of. He also desires a simple and clean interface that works just as well on a phone or tablet as it does on a desktop.

Scenario

Sarah is going to school at Montana State University. She and her roommates want to go Yellowstone for the long weekend coming up. They go to boogiethebear.com for an easy to use website that shows them where beautiful views of the park are.

Hazuki and Kazuto are from Japan. Their kids are coming to America for the first time. They have heard of Yellowstone, but they don’t know much about it. They go to boogiethebear.com for some fun activities they can do with their family. John and Aubri just got married. They want to go on a camping trip to Yellowstone. Aubri has been to Yellowstone before and wants to show John some of her favorite sites. They use boogiethebear.com to see what campsites would be good to stay at that would be close to the sites Aubri wants to show.

Content needed: This page will define what a spring is. It will also give details on 5-10 of the more well-known springs in the page. A link to an outside site will be provided directing towards a full list of springs in the park.

Geysers

Media needed: This page will include a picture of a well-known geyser located in Yellowstone. A map will also be needed identifying the locations of some of the more well-known geysers in the park. Pictures will be needed for the geysers mentioned.

Content needed: This page will define what a geyser is. It will also give details on 5-10 of the more well-known geysers in the park. A link to an outside site will be provided directing towards a full list of geysers in the park.

Waterfalls

Media needed: This page will include a picture of a well-known waterfall located in Yellowstone. A map will also be needed identifying the locations of some of the more well-known waterfall in the park. Pictures will be needed for the waterfalls mentioned.
