Yellowstone Sites
Springs
Here you can learn about hot springs in Yellowstone National Park. These hot springs are hydrothermal. Superheated water rises and cools as it reaches the top of the spring meanwhile near the core of the spring the water is extremely warm. The springs are constantly cycling with the hot and cold water and causing them to flow beautifully. Here you can learn and see the interesting springs.
Geysers
Geysers are hot springs but the only difference is that flow is clogged. Therefore, it prevents the water from flowing and causes the extremely hot water about 199 degrees Fahrenheit. As the water rises, steam forms and expands. The steam then causes an eruption kind of like a volcano but instead shoots up. The eruption stops when the geyser system cools. Here you can learn about geysers around Yellowstone.
Waterfalls
Most waterfalls are formed from erosion. The ground erodes from big bodies of water such as the Yellowstone River and causing the rocks and dirt to soften. This causes landslides that later turn into large waterfalls. Here you will find a list of famous and unique waterfalls.
